On-line Fall Yoga Classes begin
Monday Sept. 30 - Friday December 13, 2024
Multi-level Kripalu Yoga classes are available on-line:
(Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring sessions)
Each class includes: Centering, warm up, posture flows (asana) with breathing practices (pranayama), meditation and relaxation. New themes each week including focusing on different body parts and health issues. There will also be a “Chair Yoga” class.
Tuesday and Friday mornings 9:00-10:15 am (10 weeks, fall 2024)
Tuesday nights 7-8:15pm (10 weeks, fall 2024)
Restorative Yoga Class: (Fall,Winter,Spring)
Consisting of some slow moving posture flows and mostly Restorative yoga poses (static supported postures using various props -blocks, bolsters or pillows and blankets, to assist one in letting go of more and more layers of tension. Each class will end with a guided Yoga Nidra practice (deep relaxation). Benefits include: stress management; healthier reparation; improved digestion; pain relief; weight loss and emotional well-being.
