- Yoga is both a practice and way of Life for those who wish to cultivate their life force energy and feel more peace in their lives. It can be counted on to increase health, vitality and well-being. Kripalu Yoga - a practice founded on Swami Kripalu's Hatha Yoga teachings - is versatile in its offerings for people of all physical abilities. Whether you seek a more gentle/restorative approach, challenging physical approach, or something in between, all options provide you with an opportunity to grow in Self-awareness. In Yoga we re-discover inherent wisdom and inner Truth while becoming more accepting and compassionate as we move in the direction of "optimal living".
- Healthy eating is also an important part of a holistic lifestyle. Today our media bombards us with half truths and sometimes out-right lies so that it is hard to figure out which are the nutritionally sound options that will bring increased vitality to our life. It is part of my goal to help educate people how to optimally navigate the "smorgasbord" of food options available today. In addition, I teach "mindful living" - a "waking up" to the messages our body sends us to determine what foods meet our individual needs. Learning to navigate the food options with unbiased help is a BIG step towards making good choices and improving our quality of life.
Breathworks offers healthy integrated lifestyle choices that include Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation and Nutrition - all healthy foundations for daily living that we can work with for the rest of our life!
